 Today we got introduced about the types of angles and shooting fundamentals. Mr Martin explained the basic shooting angles.

PROJECT 2 (SHOOTING PRACTICE & EDITING)

 Week 4

 For our first shooting project, we were shown a short video called "About Forgiveness. There were 2 sides of the story (male & female) and the class was divided into two groups and his side would be recreated by one group and the other, her side. I got "Her" side and before we started shooting, we discussed our crew roles, locations and props.

Week 5

 This is the D-day of shooting where we started the shooting at 8am in the morning. The time duration we had for shooting is from 8am to 1pm.

After shooting, we obtained the file of the video shots and sounds from both team as we had to edit the male and female parts. Here is the folder :

 Week 6 - Week 8

 From the files we got, we edited the videos in Adobe Premiere first where we had to compile the videos and cut/ripple them. Then, we also had to do color correcting as the reference or storyboard that was given. Lastly, we had to insert and edit the sound in Adobe Audition using the sound files.

FEEDBACK

 Week 7 

 Mr Razif said that my overall sound is okay for the scene one shot 1. He told me to find another ambience sound because it is echoing in the original sound.

Week 8

Mr Martin said that my project 2 color correcting is alright but some parts needed to be fix especially less contrast. For the exercise, he said mine is too contrast and I should follow the reference given.

The goal in contrast is to grab the viewer's attention. It is often spotted in brochures, posters and other media.
