This week, we learned to observe and discuss the user experience through purchasing an item from a vending machine around the campus. Then, we observe the pain point and gain point from each steps of purchasing using Miro.

Exercise 1 : Vending Machine UX

23.09.19 (Week 5)

This week, we were tasked to analyse vending machine around the campus and record our experience or steps of using the vending machine to buy products. In my group, we decided to analyse CoffeeBot which is a vending machine which sells beverages. Here is the short video :

We also made a document to analyse the pros and cons and also limitations of the vending machine :

After that, Mr Razif told us to observe the step of purchasing and list down the gain and pain points of each steps. In addition, we were also required to write suggestions for improvement in each steps.

FEEDBACK

Week 5

Specific Feedback : Mr Razif gave us suggestions such as we could put entertainment for waiting process for the users not to get bored. In addition, the containers which contain lid and cup for the users to take should be placed higher for convenience.
